My sweet little baby Keith just turned 3 last weekend...sniff sniff. I know everyone says this but it's true, I truly feel like he was born yesterday. He is such a great kid, full of excitement and energy. Happy Birthday my sweet Keithy. You are the best! (and he always says back to me, you are the best too Mommy!)
We had a pirate party this year, at his request. It was lots of fun! We arrived at our favorite park, The Sprayground, and started setting up. A park ranger came over and told us that we were not aloud to have parties without reserving them first...oops! I figured a public park would be ok to just show up, but lesson learned. He was super nice and just asked us to put the balloons and presents away...(we did have pirate balloons, and gave them out after the party).
We played pin the X on the pirate map, which was fun! The kids loved it. We also used the parachute to spin Keith around. Then the kids played on the playground and the sprayground. After Keith's pirate ship cake and playing was over, we gave out our treasure chests with goodies inside and went home!
We had lunch and opened presents. His party was on Saturday since his real birthday was on Father's Day. So more presents the next day, phew! Keith said he loved his party and that is all that mattered. Grammie and Aunt Barb were here too, which was super special for Keith and they were very helpful too! Thanks a bunch!
This is Keith on his real birthday, with a froggy cupcake. His favorite color is green and this year he was able to blow out all 3 candles. I can't believe he is getting so old. I love you little man. xoxo Happy 3rd Birthday.
