We started Christmas off early this year. Since we are going to Maine for the holiday week, we decided to do our own "Christmas" on Sunday morning. We worked it out with Santa himself, that he would make a quick stop at our house on Saturday night. Keith did meet him that night at our town's tree lighting. Santa showed up on a fire truck and actually said hi to Keith! Maybe next year he won't be as scared...
Sunday morning came and Keith awoke to his stocking left by his crib. He really enjoyed reaching into the big stocking and pulling out gifts to unwrap.
He's also very good at unwrapping things now! (beware everyone in Maine, if there are presents under your trees already, Keith may assume they are for him an proceed to open them!)
Keith then discovered Santa left him presents under the tree! He was really excited! Santa brought him a Thomas the Train play structure and it was all set up and ready. We had a wonderful pre-Christmas celebration. Wait until he realizes he gets to do it two more times!!
